TL;DR
Manager, EAML Examination (AML/ATF and Sanctions): Conducting compliance examinations across banking lines of business to assess control effectiveness and regulatory adherence with an accent on anti-money laundering, sanctions compliance, and regulatory testing. Focus on investigating complex compliance issues, evaluating controls, collaborating with governance partners, and preparing reports with findings and remedial actions.
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and remaining days remote

What you will do
- Plan and conduct AML/ATF and sanctions compliance examinations across multiple lines of business.
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with lines of business, Advisory partners, Internal Audit, and other governance functions.
- Support examination teams and contribute to improvements in the EAML Testing Program.
- Prepare reports detailing findings, ratings, and recommended remedial actions.
Requirements
- Experience leading examinations, audits, or compliance reviews.
- Proficiency in AML/ATF and sanctions-related legislation and regulations.
- At least three years of experience in financial services, compliance, or audit, or equivalent work experience.
- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent professional experience.
- Current accreditation and good standing with ACAMS, ACFCS, CPA, or CIA.
- Legally eligible to work in Toronto, Canada; a valid work or study permit may be required.
Nice to have
- Experience testing AML/ATF controls and applying compliance testing methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis, critical thinking, and reasoned judgment.
