Security Administration Analyst (Identity and Access Management)

Location: Jersey City, United States; working hours: 10:00–18:00 ET, with periodic shift adjustments, rotating on-call coverage, and alternate work schedules.

Base salary: $100K–$125K annually, plus discretionary bonuses and profit-sharing.

What you will do

• Process user access and provisioning requests across systems and applications in line with SLAs, security policies, and least-privilege principles.
• Manage identity lifecycle activities for new hires, transfers, and terminations, including employees and consultants.
• Investigate and resolve access incidents through support channels, service queues, and provisioning or deprovisioning workflows.
• Coordinate with Security Coordinators, application owners, data owners, and global peers to validate and fulfill access requests.
• Train and mentor junior team members while providing day-to-day technical leadership without direct supervisory responsibility.
• Improve provisioning workflows, documentation, and controls, including automation initiatives using scripting and technical tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Information Security, Identity and Access Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of role-based access control, RBAC models, least-privilege principles, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Experience with Active Directory, ServiceNow, and IAM platforms such as SailPoint or similar tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and VBA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with PowerShell, Python, SQL, or Java for automation.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• ITIL, Security+, or CISSP certification.
