Registered Nurse Orthopedic Operating Room (Healthcare)

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States; rotating shifts

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients and develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Prescribe and delegate nursing care and determine the appropriate use of assistants involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to coordinate care delivery.
• Document care, communications, interventions, and patient responses in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing may be accepted with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
