Senior Go Developer (IAM)

Location: Fully remote from anywhere in the world

What you will do

• Own the architecture of the IAM domain, including Keycloak-based infrastructure and legacy Go services.
• Make architectural decisions, document them through ADRs, and break initiatives into repository-level tasks.
• Review code and support the technical development of engineers within the team.
• Own production reliability for authentication and registration flows by investigating incidents, writing postmortems, and driving follow-up actions.
• Improve IAM services, reduce technical debt, and simplify legacy components.
• Collaborate with CISO, Compliance, Support, and product teams across Coinhold, Mining, and Backoffice.

Requirements

• 4+ years of production development experience with Go.
• Strong protocol-level knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, including Authorization Code with PKCE, refresh token rotation, token exchange, JWT signing, claims, and resource-side validation.
• Production experience with Keycloak realms, clients, authentication flows, required actions, identity brokering, and major-version upgrades.
• Strong MFA experience with TOTP, SMS and email OTP, push authentication, passkeys, and WebAuthn.
• Experience with sessions, devices, session revocation, session hijacking protection, step-up authentication, LOA/ACR, and secure cookie configuration.
• Strong backend experience with Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, gRPC, protobuf, OpenTelemetry, event-driven patterns, hexagonal architecture, and integration testing with testcontainers.
