Go Developer (High-Load Backend)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work is available.

Salary: EUR 2,375–3,875 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a high-load fleet management platform supporting ride-hailing operations.
• Build features for partner, driver, and vehicle management, reporting, branding automation, verification, compliance, and classification workflows.
• Research technologies, design service architecture, and implement reliable synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
• Own backend service delivery, monitoring, production operation, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Set up observability infrastructure including metrics, logging, dashboards, and distributed tracing.
• Collaborate across teams, participate in code reviews and Agile practices, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial backend engineering experience, including complex problems in high-load environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of Go, including generics, reflection, unsafe, and custom synchronization primitives.
• Strong SQL and Redis skills, including schema design, replication, partitioning, sharding, query optimization, and efficient data-structure usage.
• Experience with microservices, gRPC, message brokers, reliable client-server interactions, and observability strategies.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes or similar platforms, AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure, testing, and Git workflows.
• English at Intermediate+ level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi and Go performance profiling with pprof or trace.
• Experience with Figma and cross-platform collaboration.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
