TL;DR
Information Security Manager - Identity and Access Management (IAM) (IAM/cybersecurity): Leading and scaling an enterprise IAM program across applications, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid environments with an accent on identity governance, access lifecycle management, privileged access management, and authentication architecture. Focus on designing zero-trust access controls, automating joiner-mover-leaver workflows, overseeing SSO and MFA standards, and resolving compliance and identity security incidents.
Location: Foster City, California, United States; hybrid workplace
Base salary: $228,000–$273,000 per year, plus potential RSUs, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, and sign-on bonus.

Zoox is developing a fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting mobility ecosystem, combining robotics, machine learning, and design.
What you will do
- Define, implement, and execute the enterprise IAM roadmap in alignment with Zero Trust principles and corporate security standards.
- Develop and enforce RBAC, ABAC, least-privilege, and separation-of-duties policies.
- Lead, mentor, and build a team of IAM engineers, system integrators, and security analysts.
- Oversee joiner, mover, and leaver workflows, authentication architecture, SSO, MFA, PAM, and identity governance processes.
- Lead access-related audits, identity security incident escalations, unauthorized access investigations, and vendor management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, including 3+ years in IAM leadership or management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, Active Directory, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, or HashiCorp Vault.
- Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, Kerberos, and LDAP.
- Strong familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and access-related audit requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, or relevant vendor certifications.
- Experience managing identity across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs for workflow automation.
