Senior Manager - Compliance Quality Assurance

Location: Pasay, Philippines — Manila; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of three based in the Philippines.
• Oversee monthly Currencycloud quality assurance execution and maintain the QA methodology, desktop procedures, workbooks, and results decks.
• Design and deliver QA enhancement projects, including expansion into additional compliance processes and improvements to sampling methodology.
• Execute testing of Currencycloud compliance processes, identify themes and root causes, and communicate findings to compliance leadership and process owners.
• Prepare and present monthly QA results and support responses to internal auditors, external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor developments in financial crime legislation and regulation in jurisdictions where Currencycloud provides financial services.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of quality assurance and risk management across AML and financial crime compliance.
• Recognized compliance or audit qualification, such as ICA or ACAMS, and/or a relevant degree.
• Operational knowledge of UK regulations and legislation, including the Payment Services Regulations and Criminal Finances Act.
• Experience managing teams, preferably including domestic and international direct reports.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, initiative, collaboration, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work from the Manila office at least 3 days per week.

• At least 5 years of quality assurance experience in financial services or cross-border payments.
