AI Engineer

What you will do

• Build and ship production-ready AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Select models, design prompts, orchestrate AI systems, and implement tooling such as LangGraph, Langfuse, and MCP.
• Develop scalable event-driven microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native systems using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Build responsive React frontends that integrate AI into customer workflows.
• Own features from design through production, improving reliability, latency, cost, and AI output quality.
• Communicate with clients in English, use AI coding assistants, mentor teammates, and lead code reviews.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial software engineering experience building and operating production-grade applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python or Node.js/TypeScript, including API development and distributed systems.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, or readiness to work actively on frontend development.
• Experience with prompt engineering, agentic workflows, RAG, LLM integration, microservices, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of AWS, cloud-native engineering, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Spoken English at B2 level is required for direct client collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET/C#, Go, Java, PHP, FastAPI, Django, or NestJS.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, Langfuse, CrewAI, MCP, AI evaluation frameworks, safety controls, and guardrails.
• Experience delivering agentic systems in production and assessing LLM output quality.
• Experience with Terraform or CDK, or a background in financial services and regulated environments.
• German or another second foreign language.
