TL;DR

Solution Architect (Global Payment & Settlement Services): Designing and governing IT systems for ING’s global payment and settlement services with an accent on scalability, reliability, security, and regulatory alignment. Focus on translating business and regulatory requirements into cloud-native architectures, guiding DevOps teams, and applying event-driven, microservices, and resilience patterns.

Location: Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

Design and govern IT systems for hirify.global’s Global Payment & Settlement Services.
Act as a liaison between Domain Architects, DevOps teams, Business, and Technology stakeholders.
Translate business needs, regulations, policies, and requirements into practical solution architectures.
Document current and target-state processes, designs, roadmaps, and migration plans.
Facilitate architecture workshops, reviews, presentations, and decision-makhirify.global sessions.
Guide teams in applyhirify.global event-driven, microservices, request/reply, and resilience patterns while monitorhirify.global architectural and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

At least five years of experience as an engineer or architect.
Experience workhirify.global in highly regulated environments, such as financial institutions.
Strong knowledge of IT architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, service management processes, and agile work environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
Experience buildhirify.global collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders and mentorhirify.global or trainhirify.global colleagues.
Advanced English. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics, Software Engineerhirify.global, Financial Engineerhirify.global, or an equivalent analytical field.
