What you will do

• Design and govern architecture for ING’s Global Payment & Settlement Services.
• Act as a liaison between Domain Architects, DevOps teams, Business, and Technology colleagues.
• Translate regulations, policies, and business requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Document current and target-state processes, designs, roadmaps, and migration plans.
• Facilitate architecture workshops, reviews, presentations, and decision-making sessions.
• Apply and promote Request/Reply, event-driven, Kafka, microservices, resilience, and cloud-native architecture patterns.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as an engineer or architect.
• Experience in highly regulated environments, such as financial institutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders and mentor developers.
• In-depth knowledge of IT architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, service management processes, and agile environments.
• Advanced English.
