Junior AI & Data Engineer

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; onsite work at the Karlín office

What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines and data models.
• Develop AI assistants, applications, and automations using AI coding tools.
• Help move AI solutions into production for teams across the business.
• Experiment with new AI tools and share effective approaches with the team.
• Help business colleagues adopt AI in their daily work.
• Scope problems with business users and present results.

Requirements

• Use AI coding tools for personal projects and build with an AI-first approach.
• Have at least one project involving the movement and shaping of real data, such as a thesis, internship, or personal project.
• Good knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Basic understanding of how data moves from source systems into databases or data warehouses.
• Curiosity and the ability to explain completed work.
• Good English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience building and deploying something used by other people.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, orchestration, or Docker.
• Background in statistics or econometrics.
