Location: Tempe, Arizona; Carlsbad, California; Duluth, Georgia; Germantown, Maryland; or Englewood, Colorado. Additional salary ranges apply to specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area. US citizenship required.
Salary: $120,500–$190,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $149,500–$224,500 annually.

What you will do
- Design cables and wire harnesses and create complete design packages for aviation and space applications.
- Generate wire lists, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, bills of materials, and related documentation.
- Specify connector and wire types while applying electrical, mechanical, EMI, and industry design requirements.
- Identify critical components, design features, and technical challenges with program teams.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, test, and operations engineering teams to ensure manufacturable products.
- Participate in group discussions and travel up to 15–20%.
Requirements
- Associate of Science degree in technology or a related field and/or 5+ years of relevant experience in aviation or space applications.
- Strong practical experience with SolidWorks or other CAD-based wire harness design tools.
- Understanding of electrical schematics and IPC/WHMA-A-620 industry standards.
- Experience creating fabrication drawings, BOMs, crafting processes, and standardization documentation.
- Working knowledge of Agile or other PLM platforms.
- US citizenship required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
- Cable and harness fabrication, 3D routing, Creo or NX routing, Siemens Capital, or internal specification experience.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior designers.
