Vehicle V&V Manager (Autonomous Driving)

Develops L4 autonomous trucks and the vehicle-level verification and validation systems needed to assess their safety and performance.

What you will do

• Define and implement vehicle-level test strategies for L4 autonomous trucks in line with ISO 26262, ISO 21448, and relevant safety standards.
• Lead and mentor test engineers developing test cases, executing tests on closed courses and public roads, and preparing reports.
• Partner with systems engineering, software development, and test operations to set verification and validation priorities.
• Drive scenario-based testing across the operational design domain and use upstream results to prioritize risk-focused testing.
• Improve vehicle test platforms, analysis toolchains, and software tool qualification processes.
• Manage budgets, schedules, resources, program reviews, safety case reviews, and regulatory or customer audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with 6+ years of experience, or a master's degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience managing vehicle-level testing for safety-critical products and building technical teams.
• Working knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, or equivalent quality, safety, and security standards.
• Experience with scenario-based verification and validation for autonomous systems and certification testing such as EuroNCAP.
• Experience processing vehicle data from ground-truth equipment, including high-precision GNSS/INS and LiDAR reference systems, for ADAS or autonomous vehicle testing.
• Strong analytical, data-driven problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
