Senior Site Reliability Engineer II

What you will do

• Define and drive observability strategy covering service health indicators, dashboards, metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
• Design and implement software-driven solutions that automate IT processes and reduce operational toil.
• Lead large, ambiguous initiatives across IT, engineering, and partner teams.
• Identify reliability risks and lead platform upgrades and architectural improvements.
• Provide technical mentorship, architecture guidance, and design and code reviews.
• Mature incident response, escalation practices, documentation, and post-incident learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in site reliability, infrastructure, or platform engineering with demonstrated impact at scale.
• Expert troubleshooting across application, kernel, and network layers, with deep Linux and operating system knowledge.
• Advanced networking knowledge including load balancing, proxies, DNS, TCP/IP, NAT, and service-to-service communication.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Bash, plus experience building internal tools and automating operational work.
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm, observability systems, container security, secrets management, microservices, and infrastructure as code.
