Senior Consultant Market Access & Health Economics

Location: Brussels, Belgium; hybrid work combining home-based work with regular office attendance

What you will do

• Develop evidence, pricing, and reimbursement strategies from pre-launch through reimbursement and lifecycle management.
• Lead reimbursement dossiers for medicines and medical devices, including strategy, gap analysis, writing, and responses to authority questions.
• Develop pricing and reimbursement scenarios, managed entry agreements, early access opportunities, and lifecycle strategies.
• Build and adapt cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, and conduct literature reviews and evidence syntheses for Belgian HTA requirements.
• Evaluate Joint Clinical Assessment reports and PICO scoping to align European and national evidence requirements.
• Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, quality reviews, client communication, business development, and colleague coaching.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in life sciences, pharmacy, health economics, biomedical sciences, economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in market access and health economics, including budget impact analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Belgian pricing and reimbursement procedures, including RIZIV/INAMI and FPS Economy.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience building, adapting, and validating cost-effectiveness and budget impact models.
• Experience interpreting scientific publications, clinical evidence, and economic data and converting findings into dossiers, reports, and recommendations.
• Fluency in English and French and/or Dutch, with the ability to write and review dossiers and reports in French and/or Dutch.

Nice to have

• VBA experience.
• Experience in consulting, the pharmaceutical or MedTech industry, or a payer or HTA body.
