Senior Devops Engineer

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer: Contributing to the infrastructure team to support a rapidly expanding fleet of satellites with an accent on speed and reliability. Focus on making CI pipelines efficient and blazing fast, so engineers can respond to the unexpected in real time.

Location: Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)

Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 USD

What you will do

• Maintain and streamline a CI pipeline integrating with a mix of real and simulated hardware.
• Introduce and optimize build tools and workflows to accelerate development.
• Automate release, deployment, and monitoring tooling for development and production systems.
• Implement and own the proliferation of metrics and performance tracking in development, CI, production, and mission contexts.
• Lead initiatives that improve developer productivity and developer experience.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in Infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology).
• Proficiency with Python or other scripting language.
• Experience with scaling build systems such as, but not limited to: Bazel, CMake, or Pants.
• Strong Experience with Linux.
• Experience working with CI tools such as Gitlab, Github, Jenkins, Tekton or others.
