Junior Cloud Operations Engineer (AWS/Azure)

What you will do

• Collaborate with senior engineers and DevOps, Software Engineering, and QA teams to build and maintain cloud systems.
• Automate deployments and configure and optimize infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and contribute to cloud operations best practices.
• Monitor critical services, configure observability tools, and help detect and resolve issues.
• Participate in a trained on-call rotation and gain incident management experience.
• Document processes and share technical knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of system administration on Linux or Windows.
• Some scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Curiosity about cloud technologies and willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS or Azure services such as EC2, S3, Azure VMs, and Azure Storage.
