Supply Chain Manager II - Subcontracts (Aerospace)

Location: Greenville, TX, United States; office or hybrid environment. Regular travel may be required for supplier visits and audits. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor buyers, subcontract management specialists, and category leads.
• Improve the supply base and align supply chain operations with program and business area requirements.
• Develop strategic material plans and forecasts based on program demand.
• Partner with executive management, program management, and cross-functional departments.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve supply chain risks and issues.
• Implement supply chain technologies, processes, and performance indicators; manage capital, contract equipment, and facility requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 13+ years of related experience in place of a degree.
• 9+ years of experience in operations or a related area.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement, supply chain, commodity, category, and sourcing management.
• Experience with manufacturing timelines and requirements, including the ability to interpret technical requirements.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supply chain management skills.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• CPSM or CPIM certification.
• Experience supporting government contracts and knowledge of FAR and DFARS compliance.
• Experience with ERP and Procure-to-Pay or Source-to-Pay systems.
