Outreach Specialist II - Overdraft (Banking)

What you will do

• Contact delinquent consumer borrowers through inbound and outbound manual and AutoDial calls.
• Assess repayment ability and arrange payment plans, loan workouts, and other assistance options.
• Refer customers to appropriate departments through warm transfers and handle loan-related inquiries.
• Conduct skip-tracing, account reviews, and research on high-risk loans.
• Analyze financial statements and loan-opening documents to assess recovery likelihood.
• Document call outcomes, maintain accounts, resolve corrections, and escalate complex issues.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and independent-working skills.
• Ability to follow applicable state and federal laws, regulatory standards, and operational risk controls.
• Detail-oriented, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree.
• Collections experience.
• Knowledge of M&T systems.
