Integration and Start Up Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Olmi di San Biagio di Callalta, Treviso, Italy. The role is onsite and includes international travel for training, installation, start-up, and commissioning support, approximately 25% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: €28,000–€52,000 per year.

What you will do

• Integrate complex systems through final installation while meeting technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Perform functional, operational, and system-level testing, including calibration, verification, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance testing.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, optical, process, component-level, and system-level issues using schematics and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and NPI teams to develop, build, and test prototype, alpha, and beta systems.
• Support customer-site installation, start-up, commissioning, and technical assistance during international business travel.
• Prepare test reports, logbooks, procedures, quality notifications, and corrective-action documentation while supporting safety and process improvements.

Requirements

• Solid technical work experience with hands-on expertise in system integration, testing, and commissioning in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Analytical, technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across complex systems.
• Ability to work with schematics, diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and exchange technical information effectively.
• Willingness to travel internationally for training and installations, approximately 25% of the time.
