DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Bulgaria and Romania; work from the European Union region with a work permit required

What you will do

• Manage and improve deployment and release processes across development, lab, and production environments.
• Design, maintain, and improve reliable infrastructure and delivery solutions across cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code and ensure infrastructure follows agreed standards and best practices.
• Support development and support teams with critical production issues, troubleshooting, and complex technical investigations.
• Coordinate product and operating system updates, release management, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Support teams in adopting effective DevOps practices and contribute to infrastructure modernization focused on performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Practical experience with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Docker Swarm.
• Good knowledge of AWS services including EC2, CloudFormation, VPC, subnets, AMIs, ALBs, S3, and ECR.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Azure Pipelines, with knowledge of JSON and Infrastructure as Code automation.
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions, firewall management, and cloud and on-premises environments; familiarity with ELK Stack, Grafana, and FortiGate is relevant.
• English communication skills at least B2 and the ability to work from the European Union with a required work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker Swarm in on-premises environments.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack, Grafana, and FortiGate firewall management.
