Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal with a hybrid work model. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

hirify.global is hiring for a client developing innovative digital infrastructure solutions and an AI-driven software delivery platform.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated SDLC workflows and platform capabilities for application teams.
• Integrate Backstage as an internal developer portal with GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Nexus, and Sonar.
• Build reusable templates, pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure modules for AI-assisted application delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable platform solutions.
• Define platform standards, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement and operational reliability.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and software delivery automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code and Ansible for configuration automation.
• Experience with artifact repositories and code quality or security tools such as Nexus and Sonar.
• Excellent communication skills in English and proficient French.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with internal developer portals, platform engineering, or AI-assisted software delivery.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience in regulated or financial-services environments.
