TL;DR
Senior Coordinator, Finance – Compliance & Operations (Finance Compliance and Manufacturing): Supporting finance compliance, operational accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and control activities across four European sites with an accent on month-end close, R&D accounting, inventory reporting, and audit readiness. Focus on managing SAP Concur and inward processing administration, monitoring financial controls, and resolving complex reconciliation and reporting requirements.

Location: O'Callaghan Mills, County Clare, Ireland. The finance team is based in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan Mills. Occasional travel may be required across European sites. Full-time role with flexible working conditions.

What you will do

  • Support finance compliance, financial controls, audit preparation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Manage inventory cycle counts, reporting, and related finance activities.
  • Support month-end close, R&D accounting, variance reporting, headcount movement analysis, accounts receivable, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee SAP Concur travel and expense processes, including user support, issue resolution, follow-up, and monthly reporting.
  • Monitor customs inward processing administration, documentation, and compliance reporting.
  • Support finance operations across four European sites in a busy manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or business.
  • Several years of experience in finance operations, transaction processing, accounting support, reconciliations, compliance, or finance administration.
  • Experience with finance systems or tools such as Oracle or equivalent ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to support finance activities across multiple sites and travel occasionally within Europe.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Concur or BlackLine reconciliation systems.
  • Experience in a busy, regulated manufacturing or diagnostics environment.
  • Experience with month-end close, R&D accounting, inward processing, audit requests, or inventory cycle count reporting.
  • Experience in shared services, multinational, or matrixed finance environments.
