Senior Site Reliability Engineer, IaaS (Kubernetes)

Location: Paris, France. City-based positions are available only in the specified location and may follow a hybrid-remote or in-office schedule.

What you will do

• Lead Cloud Baseline capabilities covering identity and access, networking, security, auditability, inventory, tagging, and cost visibility across cloud providers.
• Design and automate cloud infrastructure foundations for a growing fleet of production Kubernetes clusters.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives including cloud standardization, cluster lifecycle automation, upgrade strategies, and infrastructure-drift reduction.
• Build platform interfaces, reusable modules, self-service workflows, documentation, and operational guardrails for engineering teams.
• Improve capacity planning, rightsizing, autoscaling, resource governance, and cost efficiency across the platform.
• Mentor engineers, collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, FinOps, and engineering teams, and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on production experience with AWS or GCP.
• Deep practical knowledge of Kubernetes and its cloud infrastructure dependencies.
• Experience designing, building, and operating reliable cloud infrastructure in production.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code and automation skills, ideally with Terraform and Python or Go.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, distributed systems, production operations, and cloud cost drivers.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with more than one public cloud provider.
• Knowledge of GitOps or policy-as-code tools such as Argo CD, Helm, OPA, or Kyverno.
• Exposure to cloud migration, platform engineering, FinOps, or large-scale infrastructure transformation.
