TL;DR
Site Reliability Engineer, Tech Lead (AI): Building and operating Loadsmart's internal platform and critical systems with an accent on reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence. Focus on designing safer systems, managing SLAs and SLOs, troubleshooting production environments, and applying AI tooling to software delivery and operations.

What you will do
- Build, deploy, operate, and maintain critical systems and the internal engineering platform.
- Drive reliability initiatives across multiple engineering squads while balancing reliability, cost, and delivery speed.
- Own platform service-level agreements and objectives, monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in production environments and provide infrastructure support during off-hours when needed.
- Lead infrastructure projects, review code and specifications, and mentor engineering team members.
- Explore AI-assisted coding, LLMs, MCP servers and agentic workflows to improve reliability and operations.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in cloud computing, SRE, or DevOps engineering.
- 1–3 years of leading reliability work across multiple engineering squads.
- Strong experience with AWS, cloud environments, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of modern networking, operating systems, UNIX/Linux production environments, automation, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Chef and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Fluent English required for daily written and spoken collaboration with international engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Experience or exposure to PostgreSQL and database administration responsibilities.
- Familiarity with AI agents, agentic workflows, LLMs, MCP servers or gateways, and AI-assisted software development.
