ERM Program Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Run the enterprise risk management intake cycle through ticket ingestion, interviews, surveys, and operational signals.
• Maintain functional and enterprise risk registers in Vanta, including owners, inherent and residual scores, mitigations, and status.
• Coordinate functional risk lead check-ins, normalize inputs, resolve blockers, and map risks to enterprise categories and scenarios.
• Track mitigation plans, action owners, target dates, escalations, and key risk indicators.
• Prepare leadership and board ERM materials and support Working Group agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
• Build intake playbooks and templates while surfacing emerging crypto, AI, and multi-jurisdiction risks.

Requirements

• Approximately 5–10 years of experience in operational risk, ERM, GRC, or compliance program management at a regulated financial institution.
• Experience building or operating a risk register from intake through reporting.
• Ability to coordinate Legal, Compliance, Finance, Product, Security, and Operations stakeholders without direct authority.
• Hands-on experience with a GRC platform and familiarity with SEC/FINRA or an equivalent regulated environment.
• Strong written communication skills for risk statements, executive summaries, and board-ready tables.

• Broker-dealer, clearing, or custody operations experience.
• Experience establishing ERM in a high-growth fintech.
• Crypto or digital asset risk register experience.
• Multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction risk consolidation experience.
• Jira service desk, COSO ERM, ISO 31000, or board and risk committee reporting experience.
