Senior Compliance Analyst, Governance Programs (AI)

Location: Menlo Park, California, United States; hybrid. US Personhood required due to covered federal data and government authorization work.

Salary: $152K–$218.5K annually.

What you will do

• Define and scale governance programs for regulated-industry compliance requirements.
• Manage compliance readiness, external posture communications, customer audits, and regulator audits.
• Build expertise in Snowflake’s control environment, security features, and customer deployment practices.
• Advise customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders on security and compliance obligations and documentation.
• Create self-service compliance resources for customers and field teams.
• Partner with sales to explain Snowflake’s security and compliance capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, GRC, or a related governance function.
• Proven program management experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Experience writing and maintaining policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ability to influence Engineering, IT, Legal, and Security stakeholders and drive control implementation and remediation.
• Knowledge of at least one recognized framework, including ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, or NIST CSF.
• US Personhood required; experience using AI to automate or streamline compliance workflows.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or another information security certification.
• Experience with NIST 800-53 or HIPAA.
