Inventory Controller (NetSuite)

What you will do

• Own the month-end inventory close, including reconciliations, variance investigations, supporting evidence, and progressively shorter close timelines.
• Review inventory data and transaction flows across NetSuite, Amazon, and multiple 3PL warehouse-management systems.
• Reconcile receipts, fulfilment, transfers, returns, removals, adjustments, write-offs, in-transit inventory, and period cut-off.
• Investigate discrepancies with Finance, Supply Chain, internal teams, and 3PL partners, driving corrective action and maintaining issue logs.
• Run stock and cycle counts, validate results, and resolve count variances across 3PL nodes.
• Design and operate scalable controls, reporting, procedures, and process improvements for inventory accuracy and valuation.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with inventory reconciliations or inventory-control improvement in e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, or logistics.
• Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP, plus Amazon inventory and settlement data.
• Experience working with multiple 3PL or warehouse-management systems and understanding inventory movements, warehouse processes, integrations, and reconciliation methods.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to work independently with large, imperfect datasets.
• Strong collaboration, communication, documentation, and project-management skills across Finance, Operations, Technology, and external partners.
• Comfort working hands-on in an ambiguous environment and driving resolution across teams and partners.

Nice to have

• SQL or BigQuery experience.
• Multi-entity and multi-currency experience, ideally with NetSuite OneWorld.
• Exposure to landed cost and inventory valuation.
• Experience integrating acquired businesses or new brands into an existing control framework.
