Senior Tax Manager (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Manage and review VAT returns and Intrastat declarations for domestic and international entities.
• Assess complex national and international tax matters and advise functional departments on projects and new business models.
• Guide and help design harmonized SAP tax processes in line with parent company guidelines.
• Prepare reliable tax reporting and collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, and business units.
• Act as a point of contact for tax authorities, auditors, and external tax advisors.

Requirements

• Degree in business administration, economics, or a related field with a focus on taxation or finance.
• At least 7 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in tax consulting, auditing, or an international corporate environment.
• Deep expertise in national and international VAT law.
• Experience with ERP systems; hands-on SAP experience is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, process optimization, digitalization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business-fluent written and spoken German and English.

Nice to have

• Certified Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) or a comparable qualification.
• Hands-on SAP experience.
