What you will do

• Manage and configure Jira and Confluence, including users, groups, roles, permissions, workflows, screens, issue types, and custom fields.
• Build and maintain Jira Automation rules, ScriptRunner workflows, and custom Groovy scripts.
• Configure and maintain REST API integrations with third-party and internal systems.
• Investigate automation incidents, perform audits, improve configurations, and support Jira and Confluence upgrades.
• Design and maintain Jira project ecosystems for HR operations, including staff registries, onboarding and offboarding, compensation and benefits, and internal service desks.
• Document configurations, train users, and collaborate with developers, project managers, and IT teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience administering Jira Data Center.
• Experience with Confluence permissions, Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, and custom fields.
• Practical experience with ScriptRunner and Groovy, including validators, post-functions, listeners, scripted fields, behaviours, and custom scripts.
• Understanding of Jira and Confluence REST APIs, Data Center indexing, cluster behaviour, listener and scheduled-job performance.
• Experience with at least one of Insight/Assets, Tempo, BigPicture, or Xray.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, risk-awareness, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience upgrading or migrating Jira Data Center and Confluence.
• Experience integrating Jira with external systems through APIs.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of Scrum and Kanban.
