Senior IT Operations Engineer

Location: Hybrid, with 2–3 days per week from the office in Warszawa or Gdańsk, Poland

Rate: Up to 108 PLN per hour

What you will do

• Own production incident and problem management, including diagnosis, resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
• Monitor service health, detect anomalies, and respond before they become incidents.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, security scanning, and deployment.
• Maintain stable and aligned Pre-Production and Production environments.
• Document operational procedures, known issues, and resolution steps.
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to triage issues and improve operational feedback loops.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, application support, or a similar production-facing role.
• 2+ years of experience with ITIL incident, problem, and change management.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, CI/CD automation, Splunk, Sysdig, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Operational experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Compose, and Ansible.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Excellent English communication skills at C1 level, with the ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM DataStage.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
