High Bay Warehouse System Manager Specialist (Warehouse Automation)

Location: Nyíregyháza, Hungary. The role has a primary workplace, with an average of 3 days per week in the office under the hybrid work policy.

hirify.global operates an international logistics organization supporting automated warehouse systems, internal material distribution, and warehouse development.

What you will do

• Lead and participate in logistics projects, including sprint planning, sprint reviews, warehouse expansion, retrofits, and efficiency improvements.
• Support the development of the automated high-bay warehouse, conveyor systems, robots, and related equipment.
• Monitor warehouse capacity, analyze processes, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify system faults and develop sustainable solutions with subcontractors, Maintenance, IT, Logistics, and management.
• Prepare reports using WMS and ERP systems and present operational results.
• Mentor Logistics Specialists, System Consultants, and Groupleaders while supporting knowledge sharing across the organization.

Requirements

• Higher-education qualification in Economics, Logistics, or Information Technology is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience and 5 years of experience operating an automated warehouse or performing similar system supervision activities.
• Leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, WMS or ERP systems, and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex operational and system-related challenges.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of COMBI, SAP, SCADA, or VISION systems.
• Experience with warehouse expansion or system development projects.
• Experience with process analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
