What you will do

• Design and implement scalable distributed systems for cloud services.
• Analyze fault tolerance, high availability, performance, and scalability challenges.
• Build infrastructure for autoscaling, cluster management, workload orchestration, and compute topology management.
• Evaluate trade-offs between consistency, durability, and cost as services scale.
• Ensure operational readiness and meet customer commitments for availability and performance.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers while collaborating with customers and partners.

Requirements

• 15+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale production infrastructure.
• Experience building large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant infrastructure.
• Experience with container orchestration, cluster management, or autoscaling.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, including multithreading, memory management, networking, storage, performance, and scale.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenShift, or other container platform internals.
