Sr Manager, Web/CMS Development (Drupal)

Location: US - Massachusetts; hybrid work with required on-site work from an hirify.global office

Annual base salary: $178,700–$268,025

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod tubeless insulin delivery platform for people with diabetes and other therapeutic needs.

What you will do

• Lead and manage Drupal developers working in a Scrum team within the Scaled Agile Framework.
• Guide the architecture and implementation of Drupal front-end development, including component-based design, responsive interfaces, accessibility, performance, and enterprise design system integration.
• Evaluate and adopt modern Drupal practices such as Single Directory Components, Experience Builder, Storybook, reusable component libraries, and front-end testing frameworks.
• Partner with UX, Design, Enterprise Architecture, Marketing, Product Management, QA, Content Strategy, and CRM teams to deliver digital experiences for Omnipod.com.
• Drive AI-powered capabilities for content creation, personalization, search, recommendations, and customer engagement.
• Establish analytics, monitoring, governance, quality processes, validation, and change management for regulated digital experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 10 years of directly related experience, including lead-level Drupal front-end development.
• At least 2 years of experience managing software development teams.
• Strong experience with Drupal CMS architecture, Drupal 10/11, custom theming, content modeling, Layout Builder, component-based development, and decoupled or headless architectures.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies, enterprise design systems, reusable components, responsive and high-performance applications, WCAG, SEO, and integrations with CRM, marketing, analytics, identity, and digital experience platforms.
• Experience with healthcare or another regulated industry, privacy requirements including HIPAA and GDPR, responsible AI, and compliance governance.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI, large language models, semantic search, personalization, recommendations, and conversational interfaces.
• Experience improving content author productivity through AI while maintaining governance, quality, compliance, and brand consistency.
• Experience with Drupal Experience Builder, Storybook-driven development, Lit, Web Components, React, Vue, or similar frameworks.
