What you will do
- Manage the assigned steel services product line, including profitability, sales, growth, and margin performance.
- Develop marketing and sales strategies, identify new customer targets, and address market threats and opportunities.
- Set strategic pricing based on customer knowledge, competitor strategies, and market conditions.
- Manage product purchasing, inventory, turns, and product availability.
- Negotiate with mills and other suppliers.
- Provide education, training, direction, and guidance to Product Managers and other organizational stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales and product experience.
- Thorough knowledge of products, markets, sales, suppliers and mills, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Ability to work in Richburg, South Carolina, USA.
