IAM Support Engineer – ETL & Data Modeling (IAM)

Location: Toronto, Canada; onsite 5 days a week at the Toronto office

Base salary: CAD 52,000–70,000 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Provide Level 2 support for customer IAM programs and resolve ETL, SQL, data integration, and production issues within defined SLAs.
• Analyze data modeling, mapping, transformation, validation, and data quality problems.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and IAM teams to resolve complex integration issues.
• Perform root cause analysis, improve system performance, and reduce recurring incidents.
• Develop or enhance ETL processes, scripts, integrations, data workflows, and connectors.
• Manage escalations, maintain technical documentation, and participate in on-call, shift, and weekend support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in ETL, data integration, data engineering, or data-focused application support.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, ETL processes, data modeling, data mapping, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience resolving complex production issues and working with IAM concepts.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux administration and commands, plus strong understanding of ITIL processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or other IAM platforms.
• SailPoint IdentityIQ certification.
• Experience developing or supporting SailPoint connectors and plugins.
• Experience with Java, BeanShell, or PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of Tomcat 9.0 and enterprise IAM application integrations.
