What you will do

• Define technology strategy and end-to-end delivery outcomes for a multi-squad Platform portfolio.
• Identify reusable platform capabilities and maintain architectural fluency across service boundaries, API contracts, and event-driven integrations.
• Lead live system migrations and legacy platform transitions, including cutover sequencing, data reconciliation, and rollback planning.
• Own roadmap delivery, release readiness, budget adherence, operational stability, and portfolio security and compliance.
• Review and approve technical feasibility of bids and contracts before executive sign-off.
• Develop technical leaders, establish succession plans, and coordinate architecture and product decisions across the enterprise.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise systems, including 5+ years leading multiple teams through managers and tech leads.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency with .NET/C#, Java, SQL, modern web frameworks, REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, message queues, and event streaming.
• Experience leading live migrations or legacy platform transitions, with knowledge of data reconciliation and rollback planning.
• Working knowledge of data architecture, lineage, stewardship, security, and compliance for multi-tenant, transaction-heavy systems.
• Ability to evaluate AI and machine learning solutions, vendor proposals, contracts, and build-versus-buy decisions.

• Experience in mobility, tolling, parking, or other transaction-heavy, government-adjacent industries.
• Experience transforming organizations from steady-state maintenance to active platform investment.
• Experience evaluating or negotiating major platform vendor and partner architectures.
