Enterprise Integration Architect (iPaaS)

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, or Lenexa, Kansas, USA. Travel required less than 10% of the time. Must be available during standard business hours.

What you will do

• Own the enterprise integration roadmap, operating model, governance standards, reference architectures, and technology direction.
• Design and develop complex integrations across SaaS applications, business systems, data platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate iPaaS, middleware, API management, and cloud platforms through technical assessments, proof-of-concepts, and vendor evaluations.
• Lead architecture and code reviews, approve designs, establish development standards, and mentor technical resources.
• Monitor integration reliability, troubleshoot critical failures, and establish diagnostics, recovery, and operational support processes.
• Partner with application owners, data teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to modernize connectivity and reduce technical debt.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations.
• Experience with modern iPaaS, cloud-based platforms, platform selection, implementation, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, message-based integrations, ETL/ELT, orchestration, microservices, and enterprise application connectivity.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, HCM, project management, document management, engineering, data, and SaaS systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified. English proficiency is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or similar cloud ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud-native integration services, API governance, identity and access management, and enterprise security principles.
