Client Accounting Coordinator (Accounting)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, USA; reliable and punctual on-site attendance is required

What you will do

• Provide accounting, technical, and clerical support to Accounting Specialists, Accountants, and Accounting Managers.
• Process accounts payable, reconcile bank accounts, and perform basic audit work.
• Compile, sort, calculate, post, and verify financial documents and business transactions.
• Compare financial records to identify trends, errors, and anomalies.
• Maintain files and supporting documentation for business transactions.
• Support internal controls, accounting policies, compliance, and department efficiency.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of accounting functions and current accounting software.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, professional judgment, integrity, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a comparable business-related field is preferred; students actively pursuing such a degree may be considered. Prior accounting experience is not required.
