SRE (Fintech)

Location: Worldwide; remote work available, with the option to work from company offices. Relocation support is available to hubs in Cyprus, Georgia, Serbia, or Kazakhstan.

hirify.global develops credit card products and the core processing platform supporting card issuance, card management, tariff configuration, transaction processing, and integrations with global payment networks.

What you will do

• Manage the reliability, availability, and performance of payment-processing applications.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable payment-processing infrastructure.
• Monitor service metrics and collaborate with DevOps engineers.
• Maintain deployment scripts, configuration, Helm charts, and CI/CD jobs.
• Investigate infrastructure issues, product failures, and incidents to identify and eliminate root causes.
• Maintain technical documentation for the platform and its operations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar SRE position.
• Understanding of multi-component system architecture, load balancing, and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Experience with Python or Bash scripting for automation.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• English at B1 level or higher for communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with vendor solutions.
• Experience with payment or fintech systems.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure.
• Background in performance tuning and database reliability.
