Developer Support Specialist (Game Development)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid or full-time in-office

Estimated pay range: 9,500–16,800 PLN gross monthly

What you will do

• Act as the first point of contact for developers seeking help with DevOps services, build processes, and technical issues.
• Resolve straightforward problems independently and escalate complex incidents to the DevOps team.
• Support development teams across technology stacks, services, and pipelines.
• Create and maintain FAQs, guides, best practices, and other technical documentation.
• Analyze feedback, recurring incidents, and live-service problems to identify improvements and provide structured reporting.
• Conduct onboarding, knowledge-sharing sessions, internal presentations, and technical training.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of technical support experience in DevOps, game development, or a software engineering environment.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based services.
• Experience with ticketing systems, knowledge bases, or live-service operations.
• Understanding of software development processes, version control systems such as Perforce and Git, and build and deployment pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid or full-time in-office capacity in Warsaw, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience in game development or supporting game development teams.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Perforce Helix Core, Jira, Confluence, and monitoring tools such as Grafana or Kibana.
• Basic scripting or automation skills in Python or PowerShell.
• Experience investigating CI/CD, infrastructure, build, or distributed-system failures using logs and monitoring data.
• Experience creating technical documentation, workshops, onboarding programs, or training sessions.
