Vulnerability Management Analyst (Suitable for Graduates, Hybrid Setup) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid setup

Base salary: EUR 1,800–2,900 per month for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based rewards and benefits.

What you will do

• Monitor the attack surface to identify vulnerabilities, faulty internal processes, and security misconfigurations.
• Respond with the blue team to zero-day vulnerabilities and severe threats.
• Maintain and optimize the end-to-end vulnerability management process, including SLIs and SLOs.
• Analyze exploitability, prioritize remediation based on contextual risk, and guide IT asset owners through remediation and risk assessments.
• Partner with vulnerability management engineering on scanning tools and technologies.
• Deliver clear security posture reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, incident response, or a related cybersecurity field; recent graduates with relevant practical experience are also considered.
• Knowledge of corporate IT environments and core security principles, including vulnerability identification, exploitation, prioritization, and remediation.
• Strong written and verbal English for communicating technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• University degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Business IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams, locations, and time zones.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of coding and automation with Python, PowerShell, or APIs.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or EJPT.
• Hands-on exploration of AI and other frontier technologies.
