TL;DR

Security Analyst (Cybersecurity): Detecting, analyzing, and managing security incidents while monitoring customer environments, tracking vulnerabilities and malware, and analyzing malicious code in sandboxes with an accent on incident response, security monitoring, and threat detection. Focus on evaluating security reports, tuning detection rules, analyzing PCAP data, and investigating malicious activity across Windows and Linux environments.

Location: Budapest, Szeged, Pécs, or Debrecen, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

Detect, analyze, and manage security incidents.
Monitor customer environments and evaluate security reports.
Track vulnerabilities, zero-day exploits, and malware, and create or adapt detection rules.
Handle change and incident management activities.
Analyze malicious code in a sandbox and perform PCAP analysis.

Requirements

Business-level English and fluent Hungarian.
Knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP network models.
Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with logs from proxies, antivirus, WAF, IDS, web servers, and DNS systems.
Willingness to spend approximately one-third of working hours in shifts.
