Senior Software Engineer (Bluetooth)

Location: Espoo, Finland; office-based role with flexible working hours.

Annual base pay: €55,650–€103,350, excluding potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the technical design and delivery of complex Bluetooth Low Energy stack features from specification through testing and release.
• Analyze feature feasibility, design software and APIs, and implement embedded C solutions for wireless products.
• Make trade-offs across software architecture, radio performance, power consumption, and product requirements.
• Develop automated tests, measure software performance, and work with build scripts, CI, SDKs, and developer tools.
• Review designs and code, document technical decisions, and guide engineers through difficult technical problems.
• Debug demanding product issues, support customers, and contribute to Bluetooth specifications and working groups where relevant.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software design and engineering experience.
• Experience with embedded wireless, networking software, system software, driver development, or similar areas.
• Experience with software platforms, software architecture, APIs, embedded systems, wireless technologies, Internet protocols, development tools, or microcontrollers such as Cortex-M or RISC-V.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in agile teams is an advantage.
