What you will do

• Lead the finance function and oversee financial and regulatory reporting for OPEL.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, management accounts, statutory financial statements, and Central Bank regulatory returns.
• Oversee financial controls, tax, external audit, intercompany accounting, cost allocations, capital, liquidity, and cash management.
• Maintain and oversee the safeguarding framework, including reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, funding, and escalation.
• Own the governance and control framework for CESOP reporting.
• Present financial and regulatory information to the CEO, Board, Executive Committee, and Risk and Compliance Committee while managing relationships with regulators, auditors, advisers, and service providers.

Requirements

• Previous experience holding PCF-11 Head of Finance and/or PCF-56 Head of Safeguarding within a Central Bank of Ireland-authorised Payment Institution or Electronic Money Institution.
• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
• Significant senior finance experience in a regulated financial-services firm.
• Strong experience in management and statutory reporting, external audit, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, tax, regulatory reporting, capital, and liquidity.
• Practical safeguarding experience within a regulated Payment Institution or Electronic Money Institution.
• Capacity to obtain and retain Central Bank approval for PCF-11 and PCF-56, along with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
