Head of Data Center Operations (Bitcoin Mining)

hirify.global is building infrastructure for a large-scale Bitcoin mining ecosystem, operating industrial data centers that support users globally.

What you will do

• Own daily operations across Bitcoin mining data centers in Texas and maintain high uptime, stability, and production performance.
• Develop operational standards, processes, KPIs, incident response procedures, and post-mortem practices.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for power, cooling, networking, mining hardware, and other critical infrastructure.
• Coordinate hardware deployments, repairs, replacements, capacity expansions, vendors, and external contractors.
• Lead local operations managers, technicians, and maintenance teams while establishing accountability and scalable processes.
• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Procurement, Finance, and Product teams on site launches and operational scaling.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience managing large-scale data center, industrial, or critical infrastructure operations.
• 3+ years of experience leading operational teams in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure, including electrical systems, cooling, networking, and hardware operations.
• Experience managing multiple teams, vendors, and operational KPIs, with a track record of improving efficiency and reliability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills; ability to travel between data center locations when required.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Bitcoin mining or high-performance computing operations.
• Experience with large-scale electrical infrastructure or multi-site operations.
• Background in industrial manufacturing, energy, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale data centers.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for industrial facilities.
