Lead of Advanced Data Solutions (AI)

Location: Portugal, with a hybrid remote/office work model; locations listed include Lisbon, Amadora, and Porto.

What you will do

• Define and execute the Data & AI strategy for Compression Service, including strategic roadmaps and initiative portfolios.
• Strengthen data governance, ownership models, data-quality standards, stewardship practices, and architecture principles.
• Lead the evolution of the Service Data Backbone and Compression Information System as an integrated, asset-centric data foundation.
• Manage reusable data products across prioritization, implementation, adoption, scaling, and value realization.
• Drive AI and advanced analytics initiatives using machine learning, Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agents, predictive analytics, and business intelligence.
• Lead and develop an international multidisciplinary team while partnering with Service organizations, IT, Digital Core, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Technology, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience leading teams, portfolios, or transformation programs in Data, Analytics, AI, Digital Products, or technology-enabled business transformation.
• Experience defining strategic roadmaps and translating business challenges into scalable data and digital solutions.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms, data modeling, semantic layers, data lineage, data quality, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with data products, portfolio management, investment evaluation, roadmap management, and business value tracking.
• Proven people leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
