Lead Full-stack Engineer (PHP/JavaScript)

What you will do

• Own the engineering backlog for Marketing from discovery and technical design through delivery and production support.
• Build and evolve full-stack web projects, integrations, content platforms, landing pages, interactive experiences, admin panels, and internal tools.
• Translate business needs into pragmatic technical solutions by working directly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Review external contractors’ solutions and improve their reliability, observability, and maintainability.
• Balance outsourced and in-house development while owning delivery processes, commitments, and timelines.
• Mentor and manage 1–2 engineers, including hiring, performance management, development, and regular feedback.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering background at Senior, Lead Engineer, or Team Lead level.
• Hands-on backend and frontend development experience.
• Experience mentoring or managing engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Ability to work independently with non-technical stakeholders, uncover requirements, remove blockers, and drive projects to completion.
• Experience creating delivery processes and taking responsibility for commitments and timelines.
• Strong overlap with PHP, Laravel, Yii2, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, Nuxt 4, Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Kafka, and WordPress.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing, acquisition, or growth engineering projects.
• Experience with content platforms, community websites, forums, landing pages, or high-traffic products.
• Experience working with external development teams and validating their technical solutions.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering, agentic workflows, code review automation, or evidence-based review practices.
• Interest in gaming and the Counter-Strike ecosystem.
