Product Manager - Store & Payments

What you will do

• Own the store, user interface, product catalog, and launches of new products, plans, and pricing.
• Manage the purchase flow from cart and checkout through payment, thank-you page, dashboard, upgrades, and renewals.
• Own payment gateways, payment methods, approval rates, dunning, and initiatives to reduce failed payments and involuntary churn.
• Translate tax, finance, CX, and business operations needs into clear product initiatives.
• Manage subscription, product, and user administration, billing logic, CX tools, APIs, and MCPs for self-serve actions.
• Use funnel, payment, and billing data to identify issues, growth opportunities, and prioritization trade-offs with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of product management experience in SaaS or e-commerce.
• Experience with checkout, billing, or subscription products.
• Hands-on experience with Zuora or a similar subscription billing system and product catalogs.
• Strong understanding of payment gateways, payment methods, approval rates, and payment failure handling.
• Experience translating finance, CX, and business operations requirements into product initiatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and technical collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to VAT, sales tax, and compliance topics.
• Experience with APIs, MCPs, or agent-based self-serve actions.
• Familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem and hirify.global.
