Business Technology Analyst (Investment Operations)

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders and the Architecture Team to document high-level technical specifications and proof of concepts.
• Work with Product Business Analysts to define technical and functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and detailed implementation documentation.
• Support requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and production support across the SDLC.
• Maintain current technical documentation and communicate system changes across teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a similar hybrid business-technology role.
• Experience in asset management, brokerage, securities trading, or trade settlement operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of investment operations and trade lifecycle events, including order management, execution, confirmation, clearing, and settlement.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, and derivatives.
• Experience documenting technical requirements, data mappings, and process flows for trading or portfolio management systems.
• Experience with API integrations, data pipelines, workflow automation, and Agile SDLC activities including UAT and release validation.
